I'm taking FLYing lessons!!

Okay, not really.. But i did resubscribe to flylady.com .. The FlyLady is a reasource for those of us who need some direction and motivation to maintain a home. I have tried this before, and wasn't able to follow her system. I decided to try again! I always thought that as a stay-at-home mom, i could do it all.. HA..That has not been the case. Ready to change some things up at home, I decided to try again. So far, I am doing pretty good. The hardest part for me is the whole "get dressed to shoes"... I can't do it!! I hate wearing shoes indoors. I will be looking for some slip on tennis shoes soon.. I think there is some value in following the whole program..

The Weight Release Journey is proving to be intersting and beneficial. It really has me thinking about the choices I make in life and with food and WHY i make those choices. Right now I am working on staying focused on why i want to change my eating habits and being positive about myself.

Ok.. as I was browsing some blogs online (entering giveaways for cloth diapers), I came across Flying Giggles and Lollipops. One of the posts on this site caught my attention: My Weight Release Journey. I have been looking for motivation for my own weight loss goals/desires recently and decided to give this a try. One of the requirements is that we blog about our experience. Here goes..

Chloe is going to be a BIG SISTER!!

What else can I say? We are excited, but very nervous about how this will all work out. Thankfully, we know that God will provide for our needs and more.

The Snow!

I can't believe it snowed in March! We made snow cream ! Chloe got to stay home with Joe and I had to go to work. How is that fair? They made a great little snowman. Chloe threw snowballs at her daddy.

Almost forgot to share the 'rest of the story'.. our heat went out on Friday night. Chloe and I got to camp out in the living room all night w/ the gas fireplace!

The Blazer...

As many of you know, the Blazer and I have been having a battle of the wills for several months now.. Today it is getting what Joey calls a heart transplant - a new motor! It will probably be for sale soon after the transplant. I know that seems heartless, but even with the new motor, the Blazer is still the Blazer and we just aren't friends anymore!!
